Now I know why people have said the ending of zankoku is unsatisfactory….
SPOILER!!!!
My theory is that Neru/Miko was very lonely, which lead her to creating these situations up in her mind, to comfort her.
Techi/Yuzuki was therefore her imaginary character :((( As a Techi bias, it made me sad when that part happened.
Also, Keyaki…. <3 đ đ
I think this show gets deep into how it is for the actual people who are in entertainment.( for this example k46) They do whatever they can for attention and many hope to leave that life on their terms. The people watching and judging represents us , and it seems like maybe we need not to indulge so much on others and just focus on what matters, like family and friends. I feel like Neru’s character is like a sensei who sees his students grow and bonds with them but like entertainment, the characters will change but the show will go on. I like how they potray that subliminally through the girls of Keyakizaka46 , but that cliff hanger at the end was too much!
Although it is frustratingly confusing this was still fun to watch. Thank you for the videos and subs.!
I heard from a friend that there’s an explanation to this end.. If anyone kindly link me to that one.. I’ve scoured throigh google and all I find are the plot for this drama. I need that end explained.
Given their occupation, I can understand it a bit. This is a concept piece. These guys are part of a J-pop idol group(in case people didn’t realize that). What they went through is something like a metaphor for their lives: having to do all kinds of things to get people to like and support you, putting on a,show for your fans. In the end, they all graduate(this is idol talk for “leaving the group” and usually means they’ll pursue more “serious” careers). This Miko is the one left behind in her generation and has to guide the next one(incidentally, the ones shown in the end went on to form a new group of their own Hinatazaka46 and even have their own drama on Netflix).

So everyone died except neru. And zumin was behind it all ? As she is shown with that teacher for a brief second ? I am confused
