The drama is set five years after the events in Borderless. Mori Nao (Morita Hikaru), Katayama Kiri (Saito Kyoko), and Ichihara Kotone (Kobayashi Yui) have moved on to live independent lives, until one day, a novel written by Kiri was published under the name of a popular young actress, Mase Kanna (Ito Riria). While Kiri disapproves, she is unable to go against it.
But after the novel is published, “an incident” occurs as if reproducing the events from the novel. It’s hard to believe that it is merely a coincidence, but they do not have the slightest clue why someone would imitate the novel either.
As they attempt to get closer to the truth, another inescapable tragedy slowly creeps up on them…
