Yeah, Uemura really cute. For me the best one was the one in Keyakake, i think it was Rika vs. Sugai team battle. When she guessed it the item under the kotatsu, the way she yell and bash the table like a kid in the Xmas morning really makes me goes kyuuun

This is unexpected changes for formation and I am really happy for Honosu & Risa to be center but did they really drop Karin to the 3rd row not even in Sakura 8? I think they should add more people on senbatsu and to be honest Sakura 8 things isn’t working. I hope 3rd single songs and mv are better than previous singles and song of the year for kouhaku
Hono makes sense as she is the current Sakurazaka “it” girl. A photobook, appearances, and she is also considered “girly” by the members themselves. Karin’s drop is a surprise, but the only explanation I have is that the 3rd single doesn’t have any “romantic/love-oriented” song.
Not working for you or for them? Just because your favourite members don’t enter senbatsu doesn’t mean Sakura8 isn’t working. I prefer this than before. Lesser member, cleaner choreography. Karin drop out of Sakura8 is a good sign that they’re willing to give all members equal chance. Maybe next few singles, it’s gonna be Ten-chan’s to drop out. Changes little by little instead of drastically is smart move as it’s important to keep the faces of the group a little longer until next ‘it’ members surface to help keep the momentum of their public recognition.
Hono as the new center seemed very inevitable. She was getting super popular and the photobook was the cherry on top. I’m kinda surprised Kira didn’t make the senbatsu.
Still, it’s good that things are changing even if it’s very little. All the members deserve a chance to shine whether it’s at the back or in Sakura 8. It can’t be the same 8 members forever.
@Somebody, I think you didn’t catch my point. Of coz I am very disappointed Karin drops to third row but actually I want all the members into senbatsu and if not then, like nogizaka, title songs, under songs and unit songs produced. I really don’t want Sakura 8 to dominate all the songs and pushing them can tired them out on the live shows and put a block on fan’s interest for the Back members.
Unit song, solo song is fine because many fans ask for it but all senbatsu is a failed system for this group, forget about it already. You want a music video & performance with 3rd row & less popular members only got 3 seconds of screentime? All-member formation for special performance like last year’s Kohaku is fine.
Sakura 8 will change and their choreo aren’t as intense as Keyaki’s (except for BAN). Then there’s BACK LIVES. Meaning that in live, they can change original formation when they feel like it. Most importantly, we know that all members has the potential to replace any member when needed. That should solve the problem if a member is tired out.
well, Sakurazaka and previously Keyakizaka formation doesn’t effect them much in the dance choreography. They way TAKAHIRO sensei arrange them always include back row to be highlight as well. See how Matsuda get solo part in Blue Moon even she was not it Sakura Eight. TAKAHIRO sensei makes rotations in the middle of the song swaping rows and the center always runs around to every rows
nice, Hono is the new center, now I wonder what kind of vibe of the song perfectly fits her, would it be sweet cuz of her smile? cuz tbh, she did well when she was the replacement for Neru’s position in Fukyouwaon back then, in fact, she did better than Neru, don’t hate me guys, Neru is my ni-oshi in Keyaki, I am just telling my observation here
That’s an important shift. Back in the Keyakizaka days, Hirate was the only center for all the singles. I like to see some changes in centers so having Tamura centering is a healthy sign. I also love the fact that Risa is center for one song too. She is such a solid member. I really like her from since Keyaki Republic 2017.
