Firstly, whoever translated it to football and not soccer, I love you as they know this is the real football.
Secondly, Kageyama just become my favourite Hinatazaka46 idol, sorry Kyonko. I knew she liked football, but go into that much detail is impressive.
Finally, with her favourite player, at the time of episode, being English and now an England international, I just love her even more.
My god, her football knowledge is legit. I’m a lifelong football fan and she’s for real. And to have Conor Coady as her favorite player…….. that would never be a “casual” fan’s choice. And to choose a central defender instead of the more flair/attacking players shows how she really appreciates the sport. I knew she was into football from the very beginning but never thought it was to this extent. If I could speak japanese, I can probably talk football with her all day, probably even debate and argue hahaha
